A modified reader’s theater format makes this presentation flexible enough for any situation. Narrated by Planet Earth, each reading represents a character or character type who has impacted the world. Beginning with a dialog between Adam and Eve, the script includes 7 female and 5 male monologues both serious and humorous. Some of those portrayed are Noah’s wife, Don Quixote, and Mother Theresa. Appropriate music is suggested, and a number of children can be included. Time without music: approximately 45 minutes. Performance rights granted with the purchase of 10 copies. |

Do you know where your roots are? This drama celebrates our cultural diversity when a Cherokee rattle found in an auction box lot triggers Sandi’s search for her roots. Taught by her grandmother that she has no family, she makes an amazing discovery. The plot is interspersed with spotlight scenes that offer a retelling of Native American stories. There are 13 characters, at least five of them can be easily adapted to male or female. Appropriate music is suggested. Time without music: approximately 45 minutes.
